Most adult eye exams include an Optomap screening photo to help assess the health of your eyes. This is a great tool for patients  because we keep a visual record of the state of your eyes every year.  Sometimes we catch diabetes or high blood pressure by looking into your eyes.

What is LipiFlow?

LipiFlow is a cleared medical device for Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) shown to improve gland function. When oil glands are blocked, they don't secrete enough oil into tears which causes possible discomfort in the eyes. The system represents 10+ years of dedicated research and is protected by more than 30 patents. The in-office procedure offers efficiency and a relaxed atmosphere for patients.

How do I know if I need the treatment?

Studies show that 86% of dry eye patients are affected by MGD. With our advanced technology, we are able to run dry eye tests on patients to determine if they're a candidate for the treatment.

How can I schedule an appointment for the treatment?

Feel free to schedule an appointment for an eye exam and mention any present dry eye/vision issues to our Optometrist, Dr. Kim.
